Terms and Conditions
The “UVVG Ambassador” Program

Summary

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the UVVG Ambassador Program, administered by the West University “Vasile Goldiș” of Arad. By registering in the program, the ambassador confirms that they have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions.

Art. 1. Contracting parties

This document is concluded between:

  • THE WEST UNIVERSITY “VASILE GOLDIȘ” OF ARAD, a higher education institution established under Law no. 240/2002, a legal entity under private law and of public utility, part of the national education system, headquartered in Arad, B-dul Revoluției nr. 94, bank account no. RO 74 RNCB 0015028152520001, opened at BCR Arad Branch, fiscal registration code 14305480, tel. 0257/280 260, e-mail: rectorat@uvvg.ro, represented by Prof. Dr. Coralia Adina COTORACI, in her capacity as Rector (hereinafter referred to as “UVVG”), and
  • The individual who registers on the ambasador.uvvg.ro platform (hereinafter referred to as “Ambassador”).

Art. 2. Definitions

  • Program – The “UVVG Ambassador” Program, accessible at https://ambasador.uvvg.ro
  • Ambassador – the individual registered and approved in the program.
  • Identification Code – the unique code generated for each ambassador upon account approval.
  • Candidate – the individual who applies for admission to UVVG using the ambassador’s code.
  • Commission – the amount paid to the ambassador for each admitted and enrolled candidate.
  • Platform – the web application available at https://ambasador.uvvg.ro

Art. 3. Eligibility conditions

Individuals who cumulatively meet the following conditions may become UVVG ambassadors:

  • They are active students or graduates of UVVG.
  • They provide the personal data and documents required in the registration form.
  • They accept these Terms and Conditions.
  • They have no disciplinary record that would contraindicate participation in the program, at UVVG’s discretion.

Art. 4. Registration and account approval

Registration in the program is carried out by completing the online form available on the platform. UVVG reserves the right to approve or reject any registration request, without any obligation to justify its decision. Upon account approval, a unique identification code is automatically generated. The ambassador will be notified by e-mail regarding the approval or rejection of their account.

Art. 5. Rights and obligations of the ambassador

The ambassador has the right to:

  • Use their personal identification code in promotional activities.
  • Receive the commission corresponding to admitted and enrolled candidates.
  • Choose to have the accumulated amount applied as a reduction on tuition fees (for UVVG students).
  • Access reports regarding their activity on the platform.

The ambassador has the obligation to:

  • Promote UVVG’s educational offer accurately, honestly and ethically.
  • Provide candidates with accurate information regarding admission conditions.
  • Not use deceptive methods, spam, aggressive advertising or any practice contrary to applicable legislation.
  • Not transfer or share their personal code with third parties in a fraudulent manner.
  • Notify UVVG of any changes to the personal data provided.
  • Comply with legislation on the protection of personal data (GDPR) and commercial communication.

Art. 6. Commissions and payment method

Commission amounts:

Field / Specialization Commission per admitted candidate
Specializations in the Health field 500 lei
Other UVVG specializations 300 lei

 

Commission award conditions:

  • The commission is granted exclusively for candidates admitted and enrolled at UVVG.
  • The candidate-ambassador association is established by entering the personal code in the admission platform, at Step 3 – Application.
  • Payment is made on the basis of an individual payment contract signed with the ambassador.
  • The payment deadline is a maximum of 10 (ten) days from the signing of the contract.
  • The commission is granted after the start of the academic year and the completion of enrollment.
  • UVVG verifies the eligibility of each candidate before making payment.

Art. 7. Processing of personal data

UVVG processes the ambassador’s personal data as a data controller, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable national legislation.

Purposes of data processing:

  • Administration of the UVVG Ambassador program.
  • Verification of the identity and eligibility of ambassadors.
  • Processing of commission payments.
  • Institutional promotion (testimonials – only on the basis of explicit consent).

Ambassador’s rights regarding personal data:

  • Right of access to processed data.
  • Right to rectification of incorrect data.
  • Right to erasure of data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Right to data portability.
  • Right to object and withdrawal of consent.

Art. 8. Intellectual property and use of content

UVVG’s promotional materials, logo, name and visual identity are the exclusive property of the university. The ambassador may use the materials made available by UVVG exclusively for the purpose of promoting the program.

The following are prohibited:

  • Modifying or distorting UVVG materials.
  • Using UVVG’s identity or brand for unauthorized personal or commercial purposes.
  • Creating materials that could damage UVVG’s reputation.

Art. 9. Use of testimonials

The testimonial completed by the ambassador on the platform may only be used by UVVG on the basis of the ambassador’s express consent, given at the time of registration by checking the dedicated fields. Consent is granular and independent for each communication channel:

  • UVVG’s official websites (www.uvvg.ro and related pages).
  • UVVG’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
  • The dedicated platform ambasador.uvvg.ro.

Consent regarding the testimonial may be withdrawn at any time by submitting a request to protectiadatelor@uvvg.ro. Withdrawal of consent does not affect participation in the program and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

Art. 10. Termination of participation in the program

Participation in the program ends by:

  • Voluntary withdrawal of the ambassador, by sending a written notification to UVVG.
  • Exclusion from the program by UVVG, in the event of a breach of these Terms and Conditions.
  • Automatic termination, in the event that the ambassador no longer meets the eligibility conditions.

Termination of participation does not affect the right to commissions for candidates already associated and enrolled prior to the termination date.

Art. 11. Limitation of liability

UVVG is not liable for:

  • Incorrect or misleading statements made by the ambassador to candidates.
  • Any losses or damages resulting from improper use of the ambassador code.
  • Temporary interruptions to the platform due to technical causes or force majeure.

Art. 12. Amendment of terms and conditions

UVVG reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Ambassadors will be notified by e-mail at least 15 days before the amendments come into effect. Continued participation in the program after the date the amendments come into effect constitutes acceptance thereof.

Art. 13. Applicable law and dispute resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these conditions shall be resolved amicably. In the absence of an amicable solution, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Romania.
